• FRIDAY, JULY 26 - KIDS DAY

  What is Kid's Day?  It is an event held at Seaside Park sponsored by the Bridgeport Lighthouse Program and many volunteers like PMAFA Karate.  In the past over 3, 000 Kids came through the Park Event and was able to experience all types of sports and disciplines.  Students will have to be at  PMAFA by 9 a.m. and will be with us until around 3 p.m.

  It is an incredible day for kids.  PMAFA participates as one of the Sports Vendors, but in the past because we had a Summer Camp, we were able to include them in  all of the events.  I am not running a Summer Camp right now, but I am going to open up the opportunity for PMAFA students to participate who are not already in the Lighthouse Camps.

  My Black Belts and Candidates normally work directly with me at our event spot bringing through groups of kids to experience PMAFA.  I have never gotten any students out of it in the years that I have participated, so that is not the goal.  It is a give back to the community.
