Two Week Trial of UNLIMITED CLASSES for youth (ages of 6-17yrs old).
Classes are divided by age and gender, based upon psychological theory life span models: 6-12 years old and 12-17 years old (Erikson, 1963).
Students learn and practice how-to defend and advocate for themselves physically, socially, and emotionally with cognitive behavioral principles, up-to-date Israeli style Krav Maga and No Gi JuJitsu (standing and ground defense concepts) combined with social coaching from Masters Level Education and higher professional protectors and educators. Class content includes:
- Identifying a broad scope of conflicts and threats.
- Avoidance, Deescalation, and Deterrence.
- What to do when conflict is escalated.
- When to avoid physical altercation.
- Defending and surviving an attack with weapons or multiple attackers (ages 12-17).
We blend course content with Social Coaching which covers social skills and self advocacy topics in age relevant terms. Content includes (but is not limited to):
- Emotional regulation and healthy coping skills.
- Identifying social cues and body language.
- Kindness and empathy.
- Various communication styles
- Boundary setting and self advocacy.
