This class is designed for athletes in PreK – 1st grades.
Each class is broken into mini sessions to better fit the energy and keep the attention of these young athletes.

As athletes rotate through stations, they will work on different aspects of karate: stances, kicking, striking, self-defense, forms, etc.
Athletes at this young age typically have the foundation for basic physical development, but still lack a lot of strength and control. Our activities are designed to help them develop good control and work toward strength and technique beyond 10 reps of an activity.

Games and drills are designed to teach sportsmanship and teamwork as well as develop self-control while having to wait their turn.
Athletes at this age have a hard time processing a lot of information at one time. Our classes are designed to help them work toward greater memory-strength and the ability to process multi-step directions to complete a task.
