This year is extra special as we celebrate 20 years of Capoeira in Melbourne. Last year’s event, Seguindo a Luz do Sol, was epic thanks to all who attended. This year, we're raising the bar, and with your presence, we'll reach even greater heights.
First time at our Batizado? Get ready to play A LOT, come hungry—the Taco Buffet kicks off right after the graduation. And don't forget to bring dancing shoes and a nice outfit—we're hitting the town Melbourne style to celebrate.
This Batizado isn’t just for Melbourne students; it's for all our guests. Enjoy great capoeira, attend workshops, feast on delicious food, and play in three different rodas for each skill level. Everyone will have plenty of opportunities to play!

General Information:
- ✅ Friday night roda is FREE for everyone!
- ✅ FREE FOOD on Saturday (Limited to 150 plates).
- ✅ Visitors, we can accommodate you—let us know in advance!
- ✅ Bring casual clothes if you plan to stay the weekend. Nightlife awaits!
- ✅ Saturday after-party at El Mojito Cuban Bar and Restaurant.
