Focusing on self-defense situations where you need to protect another person with you or come to the aid of someone else who is the primary target of the aggressor, whether it's a friend, family member, or stranger.
Aligned with KMA's core principles, this seminar implements a holistic approach to personal safety incl encompassing avoidance and prevention strategies.
Participants will learn physical self defence techniques and delve into:
- “Rules/laws” around when to come to the aid of another person.
- De-escalation strategies
- Getting yourself between the person you are protecting and the aggressor
- Control and restraining an aggressor
- Control and restraining an aggressor armed with a stick or knife
Attendees must be 14 years and over, all attendees under 18 to be accompanied by a parent/guardian if not a KMA members.
